 Teacher
Preparation Page
and Links to Curriculum

Teachers have two options with
these pages in The English Room. The pages for Fahrenheit 451 can
be accessed by students directly on the web or teachers may download the pages and take
them into the class. This will work for every page except the Links to Research
page.
The materials you will need are:
access to the Internet for all
students (the ideal); at least access for the teacher
copies of Fahrenheit
451 for all students
access to computers, word
processors, or typewriters for the writing of the papers required by this unit
multimedia authoring programs
such as PowerPoint or Hyperstudio
The unit will take 4 weeks for
the reading and working on projects. An additional day for each 5 students will be
needed for oral/visual presentations.

accomplish goals and objectives in several areas of the English/Language Arts
